Gilbert Memorial Day Celebration at Gilbert Historical Museum
Every year the Gilbert Historical Museum, along with the American Legion Post 39, is proud to host Gilbert’s Memorial Day service on the museum’s front lawn, where monuments honor Gilbert residents who have served in our nation’s armed forces. Gilbert Historical Museum is located at 10 S Gilbert Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85296. (Map) in Downtown Gilbert Heritage District.
This year program (Monday, May 26 from 9am to 12 noon) includes live music and free admission to the museum at the conclusion of the program.
Our Military Room is always a popular destination on Memorial Day; the exhibit focuses on Gilbert residents who served in the two World Wars, Korea and Vietnam.
