The Town of Gilbert will be hosting multi-location drop off points for Gilbert residents to bring their post holiday discards for recycling from Friday, December 21, 2012 to Monday, January 7, 2013. Holiday trees, unbagged and free of all decorations and tree stands, holiday string lights and cardboard boxes (broken down) may be deposited in designated bins at Hetchler Park and Nichols Park. Signage will indicate where the trees and other recyclables need to be placed.
In addition to this two-week long collection drive, the Town and Full Circle Car Wash have partnered to host an additional drive for the collection of e-waste (computers, cell phones, televisions, microwaves, stereos, VCR/DVR, etc) on Saturday, December 29, 2012 and Saturday, January 5, 2013 at both park locations. Free basic car wash coupons will be given to the first 60 residents. This is the perfect opportunity to wash the sap off your vehicles after hauling it to the park for recycling! One coupon per Gilbert household, while supplies last.
